Love it! But it's aggravating

This is a powerful little portable speaker. I take it when I go for massages, so I can use my own music. It's very handy. the VERY annoying part is the battery compartment. Unless there's something I'm missing. I have to use a kitchen knife to wrest it open. SOMEthing is wrong with this picture!!!!
