The bottles are so easy to use and clean, and the included bottle brush does a great job cleaning and has held up much better than the ones made out of sponge. My baby was being transitioned to bottles only as I went back to work and took to these like a champ! He has always been very gassy and I did not notice any worsening or improvement with these bottles. I really love the warmer, it heats evenly and is easy to clean. The settings are easy to understand, my husband's grandparents had no problems with it either! Even heat is really important to me in order to preserve breast milk nutrients and I was glad this one did just that. I think this is the perfect set to gift to a new parent at a shower, it has everything you need to get started!

This is the perfect set for any new parent, it comes with everything you need to get started bottle feeding baby. The bottle warmer is great for heating up breast milk in just a couple of minutes and the formula dispenser is very convenient for having premeasured formual ready on hand for a hungry baby. This set also come with different size bottles, one smaller one for new babies and larger ones for when baby gets older and needs more milk. My baby was able to transition from breast to this bottle and back to the breast without any issues. I appreciate the wider nipple base on the bottle as it provides my baby more area to latch. I first wanted to start by saying we love avent products. I love that they are so easy to clean! The bottle brush makes it so easy to get that stubborn fat from milk from the inside of bottles. I also love that it is easy to keep clean its self. My kids both took the avent bottles with ease despite being breastfed from the tap 99% of the time. The warmer really made the difference. The milk was the perfect temperature (he prefers the body temp). Being able to choose from a variety of temperatures was impressive. This set really made the transition to a bottle easy. This meant a lot to us as we had struggled before. It is hard to focus on what you need to while being away when you know your baby is struggling & missing mom. My mother found the bottle warmer easy to use and keep clean, all while looking sleek on her kitchen counters. We have also enjoyed this to warm baby foods now that my boy is 6 months old. We kept the set at her house and she loved having everything she would ever need while I have to be away from baby! The formula dispenser has been a great alternative to hold snacks for my toddler. They come out slow so no mess is made! I will have to say this set hands down made all of our lives just that little bit easier. Parenting win! My baby is exclusively bf, and is extremely picky about bottles. I was leaving her overnight and worried, but she actually took these bottles without any fuss! I was shocked and now only use these bottles when going out. I did not try the bottle warmer out, but the rest of the set is great. I really like the bottle brush. The formula dispense can also be used for snacks if, like me, you don't use formula. I love that this all comes as a set so you don't have to purchase them all separately. It would be a great baby shower gift! I was given this gift set to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

This set was great. The set comes with 3 small 4 oz bottles which were helpful in the beginning when my son was drinking 4 oz. my son is now bigger and he uses the big bottles that are included. The nipples are soft and flexible which is helpful to my son who nursed for a short time. The soothie my son loves. He is not the biggest fan of pacifiers but this one he enjoys. He sometimes sucks on it or bites it now that he is teething. The formula dispenser is great for on the go as I can take the bottles with water and just prep when he is ready to drink. My utmost favorite is the bottle warmer. Having the option to heat the milk to either a bit cooler, just right temperature or slightly warmer is great. Not worrying about a timer and forgetting and then overheating the milk is a lifesaver! The bottle brush was useful but I felt like I couldn’t get to the corners of the bottles and the nipples as easily. As a mom of two it is important for me to find the best products. Anything that makes my life easier with two littles ones is a must-have! I have now used Phillips Avent bottles with both my kids. My 5 month old drinks 6 ounces at a time so having the 9 ounce bottles are a must! I love the wider nipples on these bottles because it makes baby have a wider latch. This made it so much easier to switch back and fourth from the bottle to the breast with no issues! The only issue I had was how fast the milk seems to come out of the nipples. I decided to use the slow flow nipples so that my baby would get milk slower from the bottle. (Which is also more similar to breastfeeding.) I have struggled with breastfeeding with my youngest baby and have ended up needing to supplement with formula. I originally didn't think that I would need to formula dispenser but it has now come in so handy! I can put pre-measured bottle amounts in the three dispense holders. Then I can easily stick it in my diaper bag and make bottles on the go! This is so convenient! I ended up being very happy that the formula dispenser was included in the gift set and would highly recommend the set for this reason as well. The gift set is perfect because it has both 9 ounce and 4 ounce bottles plus a bottle brush, formula dispenser and pacifier. These are all things that you need with a new baby. This set is perfect to give as a baby shower gift because it has all the feeding necessities and it is really reasonably priced. You can also feel confident putting it on your baby registry! I am a working mom who, between commute time and actual working hours, is gone 55 hours a week. My now 7 month old daughter is strictly breast fed and this set has made everything a thousand times easier. The bottle warmer is phenomenal because it makes it easy to reheat my pumped milk without compromising its nutrients. The warmer heats up water and evenly heats up the milk in the bottle. It is quick and supremely easy to use, you just watch the lights to see when it is done! It takes any temptation to microwave the milk (and ruin its nutritional value) away. While I don't use formula, I do still love the formula dispenser. I keep it in my diaper bag with snacks in its different compartments for my daughter to munch on. Its very handy and keeps everything supremely organized. As for the bottles, they are the only bottles we have used that did not create nipple confusion with my daughter. We have tried 6 or 7 others but the nipple design of the Avent bottles seems to be the most similar to breast feeding and has been a smooth transition for my daughter. I love having both sizes of bottles so that this gift set will last us our entire bottle lifetime. I will never need a bottle larger than 9oz so this gift set covers all my bottle needs. Oh my goodness and the bottle brush! Its perfect! It gets in every nook of the nipple and bottle perfectly with very little effort. It makes my life much easier when I get home from a long day at work and need to clean out her bottles from the day. Overall this gift set helps me give my baby the best possible care while making it very convenient! I will 100% be buying this as my go to gift for new parents. The Philips Avent gift set is worth every penny! Inside you receive all the essentials needed for feeding baby. The bottle warmer, bottles, formula dispenser, everything is great quality. We have been using these bottles for a couple months now and they still look like new. They have held up extremely well. Our baby who nurses and uses bottles has no problem latching with these bottles and doesn’t fight going back and forth between the bottles and breast. I like the shape of the nipple on the bottle is similar to an actual breast. When the bottles are used with the warmer they heat wonderfully, which is essential when a crying baby is waiting. I highly recommend this set to other mamas to be. I have a set to my friend who was also expecting and she loves it and has already gotten rid of the other bottles she was trying to just use the Philips Avent. They are even easier to clean than other brands which makes busy mom Life much easier too. I am extremely happy to write this review for the Philips Avent Gift Set. I was given this gift set to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and I am so grateful! I had been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter for 6 months and was at a point where I needed to begin incorporating bottles of milk and solids into her daily routine. I did not know what supplies to purchase and felt a little intimidated by all of the products on the market. That is when I turned to this gift set. It contained a complete collection of everything I needed to begin my transition to bottles. This gift set includes a formula dispenser, bottle warmer, bottle brush, 3-4oz bottles, 2-9oz bottles, and a soothie pacifier. I want to take a moment to comment on each item and the usefulness of the product. The bottles and nipples are wonderful for my baby. The nipples are graded for 0m+, but being that my daughter was exclusively breast fed up until now, my pediatrician recommended a slowflow nipple to start, such as one graded for a newborn. She immediately took to these bottles and has given us no resistance with drinking the milk. I also like that the nipple is a very soft, smooth, flexible material that feels very natural but does not collapse under the pressure of her sucking from the bottle. The bottles are also sized very appropriately for a baby. I often find myself giving her the smaller 4 oz bottles during mealtimes to accompany her solids and then using the larger 9oz bottles during milk-only times like in the morning and at night. They are lightweight and wash very easily due to the wide neck opening at the top. Also, because they are a wider bottle, my daughter is close to being able to hold the smaller one all by herself! The bottle brush fits inside the bottles very easily and cleans them very well. I have been using this gift set for almost 2 months now and have not had any stray bristles fall off from the brush! It is good quality and has a rounded head which is excellent at removing formula residue. The formula dispenser is a container with three separate chambers inside to place pre-measured amounts of formula powder. This has been so convenient when baby and I are on the go. I do not know if Philips offers the formula dispenser as an individual purchase, but if so, I would say buy a second one! I may have saved the best for last, but my favorite product in this gift set is the bottle and baby food warmer! I was so excited to see that it can warm bottles and also jars of baby food! Like I said, I was transitioning to bottles and solids and this two-in-one warmer has been a lifesaver! It has a small footprint on the counter top, has an adjustable dial to accommodate 3 different warming settings for different bottles and baby food, and has an auto timer feature for safety which I love!!! It even has a defrost option for safely thawing frozen milk! The final item in this gift set is a Soothie Pacifier. While I did not use this specific pacifier, my daughter did prefer this pacifier when she was younger. However, I like that the pacifier is individually packaged within the gift set so I was able to tie it on to a baby gift for a friend--so it did not go to waste just because my daughter outgrew her pacifier use. In conclusion, the Philips Avent Gift Set with bottle warmer has been the perfect item for me to begin the transition to bottle-feeding and solids. I highly recommend this gift set for a shower gift or for any new mom that is unsure of where to begin with bottle feeding their little one. Avent natural are my favorite bottles! I used them with my first son three years ago and knew I would trust the brand again. While this go round, it took my baby a couple of times to get the hang of bottle feeding, we have had no issues switching between breast and bottle. Daycare says the little guy is a pro at holding his bottle! We just use the 4oz bottles right now but once baby is older will be able to use the larger bottle. I work full time and the last thing I want to do is clean a ton of bottle parts. These are super easy to clean and I'm very appreciative of that. The bottle brush is good too, although I had trouble on where to put it at first (I didn't want to place just in the sink, so purchased holder for brush). Since I am still breastfeeding, I use the formula dispenser for snacks, so I'm not sure the use of it as a formula dispenser. Babysitters also have told me how easy the bottle warmer is to use. Overall, this is the PERFECT starter kit and a great baby shower gift! I received this product as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, all opinions are my own.
