Philips Aventultra soft pacifier

Hi i received the Ultra Soft Pacifier from Stellar Product Testing Panel to review. My 16 month old loved them! I personally prefer her to have the soft pacifier instead of the hard ones since she chews on them once he had being to feel a new tooth erupt. This is a product I will continue to purchase until she is through using them.

I received two of these pacifiers from the stellar Product Testing Panel to test. I washed them and gave them to my two kids right away. The younger one doesn’t really like pacifiers, but took to it right away, and used it for hours. The older one told me they liked the feel of it, and that it wasn’t too hard in their mouth. Both of them like and use these regularly. My younger child has bad eczema and did not have any problems.

First off, let me just say that I love Philips Avent pacifiers and they are the only brand of pacifier my son will use. Like my other Avent pacifiers, the Ultra Soft Pacifier is excellent quality and I really love the soft shield since my baby has very sensitive skin due to eczema. I also really like the sterilizer/carrying case because it makes it super easy to clean the pacifiers and then keep them clean when they aren’t in use (also great for on the go!). All that being said, however, my son (approximately 14 months old and very picky!) did not love these pacifiers as much as I did. The nipple on these pacifiers is noticeably larger than the one he is used to, and textured vs smooth, and I could not get him to keep this pacifier in his mouth for more than a few minutes at a time. So while I think these pacifiers are great and would highly recommend them, whether your own baby will like them will obviously come down to personal preference. This is the ONLY pacifier my nine month old will currently take! We love the design and soft shield which leaves less of an imprint on his mouth. I both purchased and received this pacifier to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was more than pleasantly surprised when this was the pacifier I received to test because I've been purchasing them myself for over three months now -- soft design leaves less of an imprint around my little one's mouth and he absolutely adores the mouth feel of them. We were using the regular Avent pacifiers prior to purchase of these as well as the ones I received for testing and my little one prefers these hands down and will take them over any other pacifier offered.

I love this brand of pacifiers. They hold up really well and my child loves them so much! I love the design and everything feels high quality. The pacifier doesn’t fall out of my child’s mouth like other pacifiers do. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

We received this pacifier through the Stellar product testing panel, and I'm glad we did! I was afraid to try any different sort of pacifier for my baby (just turned 12 months), but she really liked this one! It's very soft, it's not too big and the shape is perfect. She occasionally likes to "chew" (rub her gums back and forth) on it when her gums are sore from teething and it seems to bring her comfort which is great, she hates teething rings! I also like that it has a little "handle" so she can grab it and hold on to it when she takes it out rather than just spitting it out and letting it fall. In all, we really like this pacifier!

When I received the pacifiers, I had trouble opening the clear case they come in. I find that I don’t keep the cases anyway because I just easily through the pacifiers in the dishwasher for cleaning and sanitizing and when my little one isn’t using it, she usually has it on a pacifier clip on her onsie or shirt. The design of this pacifier is my favorite because I feel like the shape of the nipple is not going to affect my baby’s palate (which is always my fear with pacifiers). I have peace of mind when my little one is using this pacifier all day and I’m not stressed about having to take it away because of a bad nipple shape and it affecting her palate. As someone that works in the dental field, this factor is the most important part for me when choosing a pacifier. Another thing that sets this pacifier apart from others is that typically pacifiers have either a hard shield that isn’t comfortable for my child or it’s all silicone but doesn’t have a handle which makes it harder for me to grab when I’m wrestling a child to get out of their car seat while grabbing the diaper bag and other accessories. This ultra soft pacifier has a soft shield that is super comfortable for my baby AND a handle so it’s super easy for me to grab while I’m juggling everything else! Because of that soft breathable shield, my child didn’t get any rash marks or indented cheek marks like she has with other brands. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel and I’m so grateful because we’ve now found the staple pacifier for our child.

This pacifier came with a carrying case, that also doubles as a sterilizer case, and can hold two pacifiers which is perfect because you’re always going to need a back up! Thank you to the stellar product testing panel for giving me the opportunity to review this item.

My baby has never loved a pacifier. After several months, she finally accepted a popular orthodontic shape, but only when she was really sleepy. When we received this pacifier to test out, I didn't expect her to accept it at all, because she'd rejected similar pacifiers in the past. I clipped it to her outfit and let her go about her day. After a day or two, she was popping it into her mouth on her own and happily using it even while awake! I couldn't believe it. Maybe it's the combo of the brushed silicone nipple and the soft shield. Anyway, I'm sold. I didn't need to use the case since I kept it clipped to her outfit, and I usually sterilize pacifiers by boiling them in a glass of water in the microwave. But the reusable case is nice to hold onto the second pacifier until you need it. By the way, the designs are super cute, and I didn't mind using the boyish ones for my girl. As a busy mother of three, I have to be flexible. So why should I expect anything less of the products that we use every day? I never realized what a difference the type of pacifier shield chosen could make. We received the Philips Ultra Soft Pacifiers as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am so glad that we did! Previously we were using another brand of pacifiers with a more rigid shield, and my twins would wake up with lines on their cheeks where the edges of the shield had sat while they slept. Upon receipt of the pacifiers, I had my doubts that the flexible shield would make much of a difference- but it truly does! One of my twins took immediately to the Ultra Soft Pacifier, and he now prefers them over our previous kind. My other twin, however, is not really a fan of them. (Which is okay, she just prefers the more rounded nipple style of the other brand we own!) The designs on the Ultra Soft Pacifiers that we received are super cute and trendy. The flexible shield is soft and feels much nicer to the touch than the rigid plastic shields. My only complaint is that the material of the shield seems to pick up a bit of lint, whereas hard plastic does not- but fortunately they’re easy to rinse off! I really like the fact that the plastic carry case can be used as a sterilizer, however I use a large electric sterilizer to sanitize all of the baby items so I tend to just toss them in there with the rest of their things. Overall, I’m very please with the Philips Ultra Soft Pacifier. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel!
