Philips AventAnti-colic baby bottle

When we received these bottles to test out from the weeSpring Parent Panel, our son was in the notes of throwing fits when it came time to eat. Unfortunately, he decided that he was done with bottles of any sort and was only going to take sippy cups. The bottles were very easy to put together, and fit nicely in both our dishwasher and drying rack. I'm looking forward to trying them with our next child this summer!

Leaks are my number one issue with other brand bottles. Thankfully, these bottles have been a saving grace when it comes to leaked milk. I always dreamed of breastfeeding my son but unfortunately, that didn't work out. Therefore I decided to exclusively pump. It was very important for me to have bottles that would minimize gas and burping. I tried different name brand bottles until we found the perfect one. I was satisfied until I notice my son was wet from his chest. The milk would leak from the bottles, despite it being sealed. At first, I thought I was filling them up too much and went out and bought bigger bottles. The same thing happened with their 12oz bottles. It wasn't until we switch to Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle 11oz that we notice no more leaking. I was beyond ecstatic to see no more wasted breastmilk. These bottles also helped reduce my son's gas and burping issues. The bottles were easy for my son to hold. I no longer had to worry about a wet baby. Cleaning was pretty easy and there aren't too many parts to worry about. I like the design but I wish the bottles would hold 12 oz instead of 11oz. Overall, I would highly recommend these bottles. My son has dealt with colic / various feeding discomforts since he was born; We haven’t had a full night’s sleep because of it. My son surprisingly took to this bottle EXTREMELY well and although we still aren’t getting a full night’s sleep, I’ve gained a couple of extra hours! My favorite part of this particular bottle is that it doesn’t have 5 or 6 pieces that I have to clean. I have 2u2 and I have no time for that anymore! I love the design of the bottle because my son can easily grasp it and the opening of the bottle is wide enough for me to clean it easily! My daughter has always loved the Phillips Avent bottles. So when we received some new ones to test out as part of Wee Spring Parent Panel I was ecstatic! Her little belly is still not doing well with switching from formula to milk and having a bottle that helps ease her belly discomfort is so helpful! She doesn't not have as heavy symptoms of GERD & I know having used these bottles helps with that. I also love the ease of cleaning! These bottles do not have tons of tiny parts to keep together and disinfect. With 4 kids anything that is easier is always better!

I am a bottle snob and very specific about the quality of the bottle, the ease of cleaning and use, and the anti-colic features that help prevent gas. Who has time to use products that further the lack of sleep or gas problems we are already combatting daily? Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Bottle to try out. I can happily report - I love these. I like them better than anything I've used before for several reasons. 1) The wide mouth lets me reach in to wash with ease. You don't need a special brush to wash. Which saves SO MUCH TIME! 2) No leaking. None. I use the covers, but even so, no diaper bag surprises no messes to clean up. It's a relief to be able o throw the bottle in a bag on the go and not worry. 3) When baby grows I can get new nipples with faster flow from Avent and not buy new bottles. Which will save money. 4) I feel like the design significantly reduces gas and colic issues. Which means more sleep for me! I would highly recommend.

Thanks to WeeSpring parent panel for sending us another great bottle by Philips to try with my son. We have been Using this bottle for about 3 week and my 14 month old already has a preference over the other brands we have tried. It’s much easier for him to hold himself while feeding. I love it because there aren’t as many parts to assemble/disassemble and clean. The one negative was that the nipple we received with the bottles was too slow of a flow and I did not have enough time to run out and buy the next size up. He adapted fine and had much less gas. I wonder if he had less gas because he wasn’t chugging as fast or due to the bottle design. I suspect both played a role.

I was given many different brands of bottles as baby shower gifts. I honestly didn’t think there was much of a difference between brands aside from shape and color. Obviously, I was wrong. I breastfeed, and my baby will only take certain bottle nipples. I also quickly realized that some bottles gave my little one gas and caused him to spit up a lot. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bottle. Not only does my baby spit up less, he also seems to be much happier now. Another thing I love about this bottle is that there are only 4 parts, and they can be washed in the dishwasher. No tiny pieces to fuss with and clean. A friend gave me some older Avent bottles, some of which require an adapter ring and some that do not. Figuring out which bottles required the adapter ring was confusing. The fact that these bottles don’t require that extra piece makes it easier put together with less to clean. The only thing I would change about this bottle is the shape. It’s a little uncomfortable to hold. I would prefer the bottle to be slimmer in the middle. I now know there are huge differences in brands of bottles. With less gas for baby and less mess mama, the Philips Avent Anti-colic bottle is the only bottle I will ever use!

My daughter no longer spits up after her bottle and has much less gas due to these bottles and she did not skip a beat in her feedings when we started using these bottles. She seems to prefer these bottles over the natural shaped ones. The thing I enjoy the most is how easy it is to clean, put together and use. My husband never bothers with instructions and doesn't pay attention when I'm telling him how to use any of our baby items and he was able to figure out how to take apart and put these back together. The bottle is comfortable and easy to hold with a very simple design. No need for any crazy colors and funky designs. It's exactly what a baby bottle should feel and look like. I’ve used Philips products before I have a couple bottles from them and my baby loved them. I like how simple the bottles are because they are so simple to clean I’ve had other bottles that have so many different pieces to clean. I enjoyed trying these products. We loved the Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle! My 18 month old daughter doesn't typically have much spit-up these days but has had some trouble with gas and burping after feedings. I noticed that she had a lot less burping after bottle feeding and less fussiness due to gas. The bottle was easier for her to use as she did not need to hold the bottle in a specific position to allow proper venting like she does with her other bottles that have a valve near the bottle nipple. I also really liked that they were a bigger size. My daughter only has one or sometimes two bottles a day now, but she will drink a full 11 oz bottle at most of these feedings. The only con to these bottles was that they have three parts and the typical bottle we use has just two, but this is a very minor inconvenience. Overall, these bottles are fantastic.
