Philips Norelco Special Edition S9000 PrestigeMicro Precision Electric Shaver

This was an expensive guess, hoping it would solve my shaving issues. Basically, I have a rough beard. I never really took stock in it before, but after having endless burning feelings after shaving, I looked more into it. Apparently, rotary heads are better for me. I figured I'm going to try, this is my last chance, otherwise I'm never shaving again. Got it on a sale from big box store C nearby. Charged it up, and had 2 days of stubble. This is usually enough to not make my old foil shaver happy, so I was ready to really test it. The S9000 ate right through it. I mean didn't even flinch. I was in and out in 2 minutes. Before I'd be contorting my face, stretching and pulling, not now though. I shave dry too with the electrics, and no issue. I've tested it with up to 3 days of solid growth so far, and no issues. It's fast, cuts clean, does what I want it to do. I don't use the connected features, I don't need something else spying on me or my phone. Charges last forever too, much happier with this product. Using an old style blade with shave gel wasn't the best either, I'd have to shave after a hot shower to make sure the stubble was soft enough. The problem there is if I cut myself, I'm stuck with it bleeding, I was a before the shower guy, so the blood would stop and it'd be a non-issue by the time I was done.

I've been a Norelco shaver all my life. It's the only razor in my youth that would not burn my skin, as my father's Shick razor did. With each new innovation, I've ungraded to the latest and best version Philips produces. I've never been disappointed. I'm delighted to see the return of the shaver solution cleaner/lubricant, that I use on a weekly basis.

Excellent razor, very quiet, charge lasts a long time.

Upgraded to this Phillips razor from my old Phillips razor which was about four years old. This electric razor which was more expensive is superior to my older razor in every way. Most importantly it gives a better shave and is easier to clean.

I am 75 years old and have tried a lot of electric razor over my lifetime and was never satisfied until now. This is the easiest, most comfortable, and closest shave I have even gotten from an electric razor. I especially like the automatic cleaning system.

This think works great. I have been using a safety razor for years because traditional and electric razors have always irritated my skin. I wanted to give an electric razor one more time, this time buy a quality product and see what happens. What happened was a perfect shave every time with no irritation at all! I have shaved after the shower and before the shower. I have shaved dry and I have shaved with soap. No matter what, it all works.

I received this luxurious razor Christmas present, I have been using Norelco electric razors for over twenty years and this one is the best! Clean close shaves with a razor that glides across my skin. Charge it about once a month and the self-cleaning feature works wonders, probably extending the life of the blades.

This is the first electric shaver I have purchased and I am 69 years old. I never expected to receive such a close shave from an electric. I certainly suggest using foam or gel to achieve a more comfortable experience. It's quick and even catches hair above my lip. I am sold.

I’ve purchased several electric shavers over the years and none have really impressed me. However, the S9000 is absolutely amazing. I get a better shave than using a razor. I still can’t believe how well this shaver works.

Very, very nice!! I kept putting it off but finally bought it. I have always bought the less expensive items but glad I spent the extra. I recommend this item.
