Multimedia Speakers 2.0

I don't understand the low ratings. I had some small de-l speakers and these are far better. They actually have a little bass and the treble is good too. Plus they look cool.

Stayed up all night playing with it. Sounds great. Love it!

I have some old JBL Pro speakers I got used for $10 & decided to seek improvement. Best Buy was out of the Cerwin Vegas I was interested in. I checked Wallmart on the way home & took a chance on these,needless to say after 10 hours of DJTobias psy trance progressive, the bottom base opened up. Maybe that burn time I here new head phone buyers suggest is a wait time. I am pleased & impressed the engineers at Philips are to they're credit top notch imaginears.My hats off & a bow. Thankyou.

The sound that these speakers produce is amazing, the highs are very clear and for as small of speakers as they are the lows are really good. My wife bought these speakers for me as a gift and I have to admit I had some serious reservations about them BUT as soon and I set them up I was blown away buy the quality. You can turn them all the way up and there is no distortion and they still sound clear. For 2.0 speakers setup for a PC they are perfect, or even plugging your phone in they are great. I never wright reviews for items but I was so pleased with these speakers I felt obligated to.

Can you use these if you have windows 10???????????

These sound amazing .... but the thing is ... if i crank it volume up the speakers wiggles around... I did get these for 29.99 from amazon brand new . So i am still happy..

These are great 2.0 speakers. They are a bit large but they sound awesome.

I bought these speakers, partly because of reviews I had read and the Philips name. The trouble is I didn't see the review that mentioned the power saving feature. I also didn't see that feature mentioned on the packaging. The speakers sound great when the music or whatever sound you are listening to has no quiet parts. The power saving feature would kick in between tracks on a CD and miss the first few seconds of the next song. Annoying to say the least. I returned the speakers.

These really sound pretty darn good, loud for the size, nice and clear and decently balanced. however the powersaving features are designed to turn the speaker off when not in use. When an audio signal is detected again, the speakers come back on. This creates a delay in audio playback. For example, coming from idle, playing a song will cause you to miss just about a second of the track. Not a huge deal, but annoying. Short system sounds go un-noticed, as notifications are short and few and far in between. You will not here system notification or chat notifications as by the time the speakers come out of power saving, the system sound is over. Also, if playing at low volume, often the speakers will go into power saving mode. The only way to come out of this is to turn the input up to trigger them to jump back to life. This is terribly annoying. Takes about 1 minute for the speakers to go into power saving mode.

These are bar-none, the worst sounding speakers I've ever had attached to my PC, including old 5$ sound blaster speakers. I went with the Phillips name because I really enjoyed one of their older mms321 series speaker systems. Not even close. These are now paper-weights.
