DisplayPort to HDMI adapter

No directions! I thought being a Phillips product it would be good quality, I even took back the monitor I purchased, thinking it was the problem. Being unidirectional, this product is of no use.

Apparently this item is unidirectional, meaning that it only converts FROM DP TO HDMI, not the other way around. Hopefully Target will take returns.

For products such as these with very specific application, you should expect to find an equal amount of specification on the package. No where on this product does it explicitly say that this can only transmit signals from an DisplayPort out to an HDMI in. Every other DP to HDMI adapter will write in the description something along the lines of "Can ONLY go from DisplayPort to HDMI" or "Unidirectional"; a lot of the time they'll even add diagrams. But not this product. So I'm giving the performance a 1 out of 5. I'm assuming it works fine if you're using it from DP to HDMI, but since I was unaware to this crucial detail, the product failed to complete its intended duty for my application.
