Quick Start Guide provided was not helpful at all; no written instructions only diagrams, no good to follow. Upon attempt to download the full user manual as per Quick Start Guide - the model number on product (TAR7705/98) was incorrect so could not be located on website so had to find the same product on this website to download the full user manual, pretty annoying really.

Great to wake up to music from your phone
Overall a great alarm clock to wake up to music from your phone via Bluetooth or from a radio station. The Bluetooth connection works flawlessly. I would give it 5 stars for that but unfortunately the alarm clock has a couple of flaws and one big one. The big one is that the lowest volume setting is still too loud and as a result there isn't a gentle waking up as intended with the increasing volume feature. It might be fine if you are a heavy sleeper but for me this is a show stopper. The 2 minor flaws are that the volume cannot be adjusted when the alarm is running. And that the time of the alarm isn't displayed when turning the alarm is turned on. As a result one has to cycle through the alarm set up to find our what time it is set to. I bought this to replace another Philips alarm clock (model DC315/12) which offered these features including a much lower volume level to start off the alarm. I compared the volumes for both and volume 1 setting of this alarm clock is already as loud as volume 4 setting on the old one. Surprising that Philips made a step back with this alarm clock.
