To display the volume bar on the screen, the OSD setting in the TV's on-screen menu must be set to NORMAL.

To set:

1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
2. Press the cursor up/down to select SETUP and press the cursor right.
3. Press the cursor up/down to select PREFERENCES and press the cursor right.
4. Press the cursor up/down to select MENU PREFERENCES and press the cursor right.
5. Press the cursor up/down to select OSD and press the cursor right.
6. Press the cursor up/down to select NORMAL and press the 'OK' button to confirm.
7. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.

Note: If you have not updated your software this setting will cause the channel number to remain on the display for long period of time. Please update your software to prevent this.
