If you have not set your PIN-code when you first turn on the TV set, you will have to set your PIN-code before using the lock feature.

To set the PIN code for the first time:

1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
2. Press cursor up/down to select TV MENU and press cursor right.
3. Press cursor up/down to select FEATURES and press cursor right.
4. Press cursor up/down to select SET PIN and press cursor right.
5. When the prompt PLEASE ENTER A 4-DIGIT PIN appears on the screen, enter an easily remembered new four-digit code and enter the new code the second time to confirm it.
6. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.

To change the PIN code if it is unknown or forgotten:

1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
2. Press cursor up/down to select TV MENU and press cursor right.
3. Press cursor up/down to select FEATURES and press cursor right.
4. Press cursor up/down to select CHANGE PIN and press cursor right.
5. When the prompt PLEASE ENTER YOUR CURRENT PIN appears on the screen, enter the universal code 0711.
6. Then enter an easily remembered new four-digit code and enter the new code the second time to confirm it.
7. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
