    Philips player does not respond when buttons are pressed

    • Maybe the unit is not switched on. Press and Hold the Play/Pause button to power the unit ON.

    • The HOLD switch at the bottom of the unit is in the HOLD position. Ensure the HOLD switch is in the OFF position.

    Note: This is applicable for models purchased before June 2009. Models purchased after June 2009 will not have a HOLD button.
