The files are not deleted from the device but moved to the recycle bin. To completely remove the files from the MP3 player, use the following procedure:

1. Open Windows Explorer by double clicking the My Computer icon on your desktop.
2. Click on the Tools menu and select Folder Options.
3. Select the Tab View and check to select the Show hidden Files and Folders option.
4. Navigate to the device. A folder called recycle bin is available. Completely remove this folder from the device.

Once the recycle bin folder is removed, the files are completely removed from the device and the free space is available.
