"Load" message on my Philips BDP900 player and the tray does not open

The set is waiting for language selection.

Connect the set to a TV or display.
Select the correct input on the TV or display
If there is no menu open the user access panel and select the correct video output (page 19 of the user manual)
Now you should see the installation menu (and select language).

During the complete process above there is “load” in the display.

After finishing these steps it will take a few seconds and the tray can be opened.
