My replacement blade is performing poorly

If you recently purchased a replacement blade for your Philips OneBlade and are experiencing poor performance, the blade may not be a genuine Philips product.

Poor performance could include hair-pulling, needing repeated passes when shaving, and similar sub-optimal shaving results.

Unfortunately, knock-off replacement blades are available to purchase online, and many counterfeits closely imitate the appearance of both the blade and the Philips packaging. While Philips endeavors to have counterfeits removed from sale as soon as we become aware of them, the manufacturers of the counterfeit blades are often able to open new seller accounts and re-list the items very quickly.

When purchasing new blades, consider:

  1.  Some offers may be too good to be true- if a product seems legitimate but is being sold at an unusually low price, this could be a sign that the product is not genuine.
  2. Be aware of who you’re buying from- some well-known online sales platforms act as marketplaces, allowing third-party sellers to sell via their platform. While many of these sellers are perfectly legitimate, it’s always worth checking which seller created the listing, how old their seller account is, and what reviews they’ve received from other buyers.

Philips is unable to compensate those who have purchased counterfeit blades; any complaints should be directed to the seller or the associated online sales platform.
