Saeco MinutoSuper-automatic espresso machine

This Minuto performed very well from about Jan. 2013 until June 2018; it has made 100's of cups of coffee very reliably. After cleaning, it wouldn't make a sound. We acquired a Case #60-0011419267.

This model is perform excellent coffee maker and has great features.

Easy to control...Makes great drinks. I can easily have a cappuccino, flip the switch and enjoy a coffee.

This machine consistently makes one of the best cups of coffee I have every had the pleasure of drinking. The machine is easy to use and the milk frother works great. The water reservoir is on the small side and needs to be refilled after four large cups are brewed. I also find the time it takes to brew a cup to be a little excessive.

The quality of the plastic is a little bit poor. You have to be very careful not to scratch it. But overall i lve the coffee and it is easy to use and clean.

The only thing that I don't like about this product is that the spout which the coffee comes out is too short. My other Saeco espresso machine I was able to pull down the spout to make in a small espresso cup. This one you have to have a full cup and then pour it in a espresso cup and if you don't the coffee splashes everywhere.

I previously owned a Delonghi Gran Dama. Loved it. But when it was time to replace the Gran Dama for a second time, I knew I couldn't buy another. This product is super simple to operate. Coffee is super hot and the lattes are as easy as advertised...which isn't always the case with high end machines like this.

The Minuto makes a great cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the machine has stopped working altogether after four years. We followed the maintenance schedule to a tee, however it seems the pump mechanism has stopped working. My expectation is that it would last longer, especially with the frequency of maintenance needed to keep it in good working order. Now it is past warranty and my only recourse is to send it in for costly repairs (to a shop seven hours away) or discard and purchase a new one.

My family owns 2 old Vienna deluxe for more than 10 years. Still works perfect, just a minor parts changes and regular maintenance. This one (professional opinion of electro-mechanical engineer for 20 years) - assembled in Romania low quality piece, completed out of cheap plastic parts made in 3rd rate factories around the world using different standarts. As a result parts do not work well together - grinded coffee is all over the machine, more water is going to the tray than to brewing group, preasure and amount of water is unpredictable and if you end up with some kind of fluid in a cup that has nothing to do with cofee you ordered. Was in repair shop for almost 2 months - after that 90% of water is leaking to tray. Everything that possibly go wrong with automatic expresso machine - you got it. If You want to spend money on the piece of garbage - this machine if for you.
