I love my Philips Onion chopper. ❤️ The machine is easy to use, it cuts onions into a consistent size just right to sauté and add to my other ingredients. It’s much easier then hand chopping them. I’m not a chef so I can’t do the speedy chop chop and I don’t need to with this. Onions are easy to remove from the plastic bowl. I have to remember not to put my head directly over the bowl, the vapors from the onions are really strong and made my eyes water.

I can't find anything to complain about this item. Easy to use, wash, assemble & disassemble. I love it!

This chopper cuts foods in small squares. I don’t know of any other chopper that have this feature. I purchased the second one to have a backup. Is easy to use and clean. For example, I combine onion, celery and carrot in little squares to prepare chicken, or Italian pasta sauce. This chopper also blends foods. It has a strong blade. Phillips makes beautiful and excellent quality products.

I am very satisfied with the overall performance of the chopper.

I was considering this as a Christmas present for my adult children, but wanted to check it out first. I use it 3-5 times per week to chop onions and peppers (jalapeños and Serranos). As a result of the finer (chop / minced), more uniforms product, my recipes cook faster and even taste better. I was also concerned that cleaning would be tedious, but the construction and the materials used make it a breeze. My only caution is to be careful when you open the bottom chamber with chopped onion, all of the aerosolized vapors, can make you cry like a baby. I love this product.

[Employee of philipsglobal] I won this product at a company cooking competition, and when I first received it I didn't think I would use it that much since I already have a high powered food processor. After owning it a year, I wanted to write a review for it because I actually use this thing a lot! I think the main advantage is it's much easier and much lighter than my food processor. I make a sesame-peanut pesto weekly (peanuts, sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, FYI) and this thing has no problem blending the peanuts into a smooth sauce (I cook some rice on the side and add this pesto to sauteed veggies and tofu!). It works for chopping onions and veggies with the little basket, although if I don't need to blend things finer I tend to just use a sharp knife for dicing. Also, full disclosure, I work for Philips, although not for the the branch that makes these cooking products. And to be frank I often wonder if the products are worth the typically higher prices (see AirFryers, which are considerably more than the competition), but in this case this is something I would buy if it were to break, and I would recommend it for friends.

Chops nuts, onions and even beats eggs. A great helper in the kitchen. Easy to clean and store. Really fast motor.
