Philips Norelco Shaver 5300Wet & dry electric shaver, Series 5000

I like the shaver and the ease of shaving. I would recommend this shaver to a friend or relative.

This is my first fully cordless shaver. I’ve been using Philips electric razors for decades but only bought corded models. This series 5000 (I believe mine is a 5280 model) is a big upgrade from my past shavers. At least while it’s pretty new it holds a charge very nicely. I’m guessing I could shave twice a day for almost a week before the charge level gets to one LED. The shave is very close. More than enough for my needs. The attached trimmer is a nice bonus as well. Cleaning is a breeze. I dust off the inside after each shave with a small brush and rinse it fully once a week. So, I would recommend this series 5000 Philips very confidently. PS, with the extended warranty it is covered for a full 5 years which I’d consider a generous warranty for modern small appliances.

I received this as a gift for my birthday. Oddly I received another shaver of a different brand from my Daughter in the mail the same day. I have used both alternating daily to determine which one gives me the closest most comfortable shave. After 1 month alternating daily between the Philips and Babyliss Pro I have a winner. It's the Philips. I have nothing but praise for your product. I only wish it came with a docking stand so I could sit it upright on my vanity instead of laying it flat.

First electric razor that works like it should gives a clean cut and is actually enjoyable to use

I like how close it shaves and I like the onboard sideburn trimmer. I also like that it works with the optional cleaning pod. I also like that replacement blades for the 5000 are much cheaper than replacement blades for the 9000. I bought this 5000 Series shaver to replace a 9000 series shaver that I owner for about 10/12 years (I did replace the blades regularly). This new 5000 shaves so much better than the old 9000 I wish I had replaced it sooner. And of course the price of the 5000 is much less than a new 9000.

Easy to use and clean, it cuts just like a regular 4/5 blade razor wet or dry. I have tried had own a few and this one is by far the best ! It was a gift from my Wife because I was complaining about shaving everyday and being irritated .

I use this shaver for work shaving heads and faces. I like that it's Gentle and gets the customers smooth.

I've had many shavers over the years, and I finally hit the jackpot with this shaver. It's by far the best shaver I ever had. I've had more expensive shavers that were not half as good. These days my shaves take less than 5 minutes. I go around telling everybody about it! My only gripe is I wish they would add a case for it as well. I had to buy it separately, but they never fit as good as the one supplied by the manufacturer.

This was my last shaver to shame. I never knew a shaver could get such a close shave. I love the shaver.

This is the BEST electric razor that I have ever owned. In fact, I use it almost every day because it is so good and easy to use (adjusts to contours of my face) and I feel great after using.
