GoGEARMP3 video player

I never was a MP3 or IPOD user. So, after great debate and ALOT of shopping around looking at prices I decided to I buy a MP3 player. The prices were alot better for what I wanted. At first this MP3 was to be used primarly in my vechicle. After adding music to it and playing with all the features and seeing how easy it is to navigate thru, I now use it all the time. Its a 4GB and I have over 600 plus songs and a few videos on it and still havent used up 2GB!! I am truly happy with this product.

I have bought a couple of mp3 players in my day,but when I saw this one I had to have it...I'm so glad I did the ease of use was incredible, within 5 min. form when I plugged it into my computer I downloaded most of my music, and the battery rechareged in about an hour... The battery life is exellent, I listened for about 4 hours non stop, plus I was able to download my photos and videos and i didn't even make a dent in on the 4 GB memory......Great job Philips keep up the good work.......

I have purchased two of these in hopes of having a reliable source of music. In both instances not long after purchase, and after loading all my favorite music on them, both units failed. For whatever reason both just stopped working, no lights, no sound, nothing. I had my first one for probably 3 months before tracks started disappearing, then one day around 6 months I tried to turn it on and nothing. Under the guise of that one just being a fluke I purchase another of the exact model hoping that my library would be a smooth transition. Upon plugging in the second one there was a considerable amount or effort required to add my library and some tracks just wouldn't go. Soon after the headache of loading these tracks I was able to use the player relialbly for about 4 months or maybe 5. After around 5 months it just quit like the other one. My average usage per day may have been 2-3 hrs while driving, not what you would expect to wear the player out, or cause catastrophic failure.

This product is really pretty and really tiny so it can fit in a wide variety of places, but the screen is too small for any type of serious movie viewing. The screen is attractive and it is easy to switch between songs. It is just a really beautiful product and at 4 GB for the price, you feel like you've gotten a great deal. I literally put an entire movie on the device out of curiosity, and it fit and still had ample space for songs and pictures. Unfortunately, my product was a bit defective, and it doesn't seem to be a coincidence. Be cautious if you buy this. Mine barely lasted six months.
