Philips AventEssentials Set

I received a Philips Microwave Bottle Sterilizer and Bottle Set from the weeSpring Parent Panel. I absolutely love the bottles and so does my little one! We had a great transition from breast feeding to the use of a bottle. The nipple is designed to imitate a Mother’s breast and my little one had no issues transitioning. Although she didn’t care to much for the pacifier, because of the shape. As for the Microwave sterilizer, it is a fantastic idea for a quick process, but I personally don’t like the use of a microwave to heat up plastic. I have tried other sterilizers in the past and have found that dishwashing the bottles are so much faster and easier. All together I think this is a great starter kit for anyone that is expecting and would be a great baby shower gift. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone!

This gift set was such an amazing product to use. The nipples are such a natural shape and the only bottle my breastfed baby will take. The pacifiers are also the only ones my baby will take. Everything in this set is so high quality. The styles of the pacifiers are so cute and simple. I would definitely recommend this set to other people because it’s a great starter set and top quality. This set was also super easy to sterilize, which is always a plus! You literally just stick the sterilizer in the microwave. I was given this gift set to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. Baby took the bottle well, and I liked that it didn’t have so many different parts to wash and keep track of. The sterilizer made it so simple to clean bottle parts quickly. I thought this was a great starter kit for any new parent and would make a great baby shower gift.

We received this product through weespring parent panel! This gift set is amazing! The bottles are our favorite! There are only two parts to wash (bottle and nipple). With twins this is super convienent! Both babies can easily hold these bottles too. The pacis are great too and comevwith covers. This is great for on the go! Also, the sterilizer is simple, easy, and efficient! We would totally recommend this product!

Overall, I really like this gift set. My daughter is 8 months old now and we have been using this set for nearly 6 months, essentially since she started taking bottles when I returned to work from maternity leave. I absolutely love the steam sterilizer! This gift set is worth it just for that, in my opinion. If I forget to wash bottles or pump parts, I can have them clean and ready to go in just minutes in the morning before we head out for the day. The bottle brush is a great size for the bottles and nipples. I do wish it was shaped a little differently, though, as it doesn't work as well to clean my pump parts--I use a different brush for my pump parts to get those little crevices in the flanges and duckbills. I also really enjoy the size of the bottles, as they are relatively small and fit perfectly into the cooler I have for transporting breast milk bottles to daycare.They were comfortable to hold when my daughter was little, and now that she is older, she enjoys holding them herself, which is easy for her to do because of its shape. The nipples on these bottles work great for pace feeding! My exclusively breastfed daughter was able to get a good latch right from the start. Although my daughter has never been interested in pacifiers, so we didn't really use those much, they are super cute and I'm sure most babies would take to them quickly. With everything this set includes, it would be perfect for a baby shower gift. I would definitely recommend putting it on your baby registry. This is a great set for a new parent to get a little bit of everything, with varying sizes from newborn to infant. I was skeptical about the pacifiers since my daughter has been exclusively using the Philips Avent Soothies pacifiers for a couple of months. However, after only a couple attempts, she has made clear her preference for these. And bonus, she is able to hold on to these better and longer than the Soothies, so she isn't waking up a few minutes after laying her down because her pacifier popped out - which means more sleep for mama! My little one liked that she was able to hold the bottles and the natural shape was easy for her to cup her hands around (which is great because the whole motor skills thing is still very new to her at 4 months old!). The smaller nipple was great, nice slow flow that she was able to control. The bigger nipple was a lot faster, and made a bit of a mess since she wasn't used to the faster flow. Something that probably would improve with practice. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for this lovely gift set.

These bottles have been a game-changer for my household. Being the new first-time mom that I am, I prepared for my little girl’s arrival by researching online for the “best” baby bottles. It seemed like every baby (and parent) I read about loved a well-known brand that I immediately stocked up on. However, once she arrived, I quickly found out that baby did not care one bit for all the research I did, and she did not want to follow the slew of other babies that loved these bottles. It was a fight to use them, and she would scrunch up her face with a disgusted look every feeding. I eventually retired those cute pink bottles and replaced them with the same brand the NICU used at the hospital. She latched to those better, but my hubby doesn’t like them too much since they had just as many pieces as the ones we just retired (I’m a lucky wife – hubby hand washes her bottles!). Then we received this set of Avent bottles. The clear, colorless bottles may discourage some for choosing these as a baby shower gift in lieu of colored versions, they are very nice due to the clear visibility of the bottle markings. It’s very easy to see when pouring formula, even late at night! No matter how nice I thought these were, what really mattered is what my little one thought of these. Much to my surprise, she took to them immediately. The nipple flow was perfect for her at 3 months old, and I loved how soft and flexible the nipples were. There has been no leaking between the nipple and neck ring whatsoever (a common problem I had with some other brands – it’s no fun to have milk spilling out as baby eats!). I also love the design of the bottle – they aren’t the standard tall, straight bottles. The bottle has a gentle curve to it that makes it very comfortable to hold, and they fit much better in my diaper bag pouches. Hubby prefers these over others as well, since they only have three pieces that aren’t frustrating like others with anti-colic airflow straws that have small pieces that are tedious to wash. They’re easy to clean, dry, and sterilize with wide necks – bottle brushes fit easily. The other included items in the gift set have been equally amazing. The bottle brush is hands-down my favorite of all the brands I’ve tried. The bristles are just stiff enough to get all the milk residue without tons of scrubbing, and it doesn’t splash a bunch of water and suds everywhere. It seems silly that something as simple as a bottle brush can matter so much, but it does! The included microwave sterilizer made it soooo easy to sterilize, too! Just a bit of water into the bottom, load it up with all the bottle parts, and pop it in the microwave for a few minutes – quick and simple to have peace of mind that my baby’s bottles were safely cleaned. The pacifiers were a nice added touch, but my little one absolutely refuses any and all pacifiers – regardless of brand. I’ve given them to a friend that just had her own little one, and thankfully her baby loves them. I could not be more pleased with this set and have since stocked up with more bottles, and have been highly recommending this set to expecting friends, if not just purchasing it as part of their shower gifts outright. Having a new baby is stressful enough, so having anything that makes it a little easier to handle is so relieving to find. - [x] This set has all the basics in neutral white that any new parent would enjoy reviewing as a gift! From the bottles to the pacifiers to the sterilizer, it’s got all the bases covered when it comes to feeding and keeping your little one happy. I found the bottle brush was very easy to use, and I liked that it was not round like most other bottle brushes on the market. It made it a little easier to scrub in the necks of the bottles. Also as a mom to my firstborn, the pacifier lids were perfect to protect the pacifier from all those germs, especially when throwing it into the diaper bag for on the go. The microwave sterilizer was simple to use and actually fit all the bottle pieces I needed it to with one use, unlike many of the sterilizer bags out there! I also used the sterilizer at my office to sterilize pumping parts, and it worked perfectly as a place to allow the parts to dry with just removing the lid. The bottles themselves are the best! The nipple mimics the breast and my little one took to it easily as a breastfed baby! This set really has everything you need sans the milk and baby! You get two different size bottles (2 of each size), their new pacifiers, a bottle brush, and the sanitizer for in the microwave. These bottles are the only ones my breastfed baby will use, and the greatest thing about the sanitizer; you can fit your breast pump parts in it. I recommend it to any new parent!

I received this gift set and was excited about all the different components to try. We are already a fan of the Avent pacifiers and trying the bottles and sterilizer was an added bonus. I like that the pacifiers are a simple design and fit easily for my babies. The coverguard is awesome and appreciated for those quick trips when they get dropped into my purse or diaper bag. The bottles have continued to be a hit with my twins and they drink their daily formula from these bottles without any issues or gas. They both love the shape of the bottle for holding and seem to take the nipple with ease. I did love having the sterilizer for cleaning the pacifiers and bottles. It was very easy to use and efficient. My only one complaint about the sterilizer is that it is huge and doesn't collapse - so therefore it takes up a lot of counterspace or shelf space. Most of the time we just store it in the microwave to keep it out of the way. I wish there was a better way of minimizing the overall size. For any new parents, this would definitely be a great gift to give for all the immediate necessities that feeding a baby brings!
