Philips AventComfort Double electric breast pump

I love this pump it fits perfectly, so easy to use with Avent bottles. I love the different speeds or settings. I love how comfortable the silicone pads are. Only down side is it's a little noisy but I can get past that.

As a first time mom who hopes to breastfeed my son until at least 2 years old, this pump makes me feel confident that I could meet, or at least get close to, my goal, even when he starts daycare in the next few weeks when I return to work as a field officer. 1) It is fast - If I pump first thing in the morning, I get about 13-15 oz in approx 15 min. 2) It is simple - After reading the instructions manual before the very first use, I realised doing so was basically an academic exercise since assembly and use of the pump is 'sockeye' (a saying we use in Trinidad meaning 'incredibly easy'). 3) It is easy to clean - After pumping, I just remove the three rubbers and drop everything in some soapy water til I'm ready to wash up and sterilize (I use the Avent microwave sterilizer) later. I use a bottle brush for everything only because I am paranoid (being a first time mom and all), but to be honest, the design of the pump doesn't really make a bottle brush necessary for thorough cleaning, once you don't leave the part long enough to let any residual milk dry in them. 4) It is convenient - In addition to the fact that it is a double pump, its compact size, relative low noise and the discreet carrying case in which it comes makes pumping away from home a reality. This is extremely important for me due to the nature of my job. Also adding to its convenience is the fact that it is compatible with other Avent products such as the storage cups (using the adapter that comes with the box of 10) as well as the soft tip sippy cups. Thus far, I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this product to other moms...it is worth every cent!

Really happy with this pump. It does the job I need it to do and is easy to clean and does not take up a lot of space.

Love the product, has different suctions as well as the let down mode, which makes pumping easier.

I wanted this pump from the start but because a friend had a Medela, I used her pump for 5 weeks until it died on me (of course I had all new parts for that pump!) I already have all the Avent Natural bottles so I was very familiar with that part. I do agree that this pump is a bit loud, but hey, it's a pump! (They aren't quiet and I'm perfectly ok with that!) The pump parts are very easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning and I love the pump cover so that everything stays nice and clean between uses. I am very satisfied with this pump and I highly recommend it! (I would just like to say that I was able to pump a combined 15 oz. my first time and I've only been pumping for 5 weeks now!)

This pump was much lighter weight than other ones I had tried so very easy to transport around the house or in the car. Compared with others its great that you don't have to hunch over to let the milk flow into the bottle - what a relief! The fact that its BPA free is a huge plus as well. Only change I would recommend to the brand is to have different sizes available for flanges - every woman is different and to have ranges would definitely help.

First, I wanted to say I have an older model. I love it the let down cushions are amazing and I feel no pain when I pump. Also, the one touch control is really nice. It remembers the speed that I set it to. It works as a double pump as well as a single one. I can collect milk easily and store it until I need it. I would recommend it to any of my breastfeeding friends.

I bought this pump to replace an older one that I had and have been happy with the product so far. I like that it can take batteries also and it is very quiet when in use. I find the suction isn’t as strong as my older Avent pump but it still gets the job done.

As a mom of 4 I’ve used several various pumps over the years and to be honest, pumping can be a pain. It’s hard to find the time if you’re working or have other kids and some other pumps are slow or even hurt. Fortunately, The Philips Advent Double Electric Breast Pump turned out to be a great little pump. It’s small size and travel bag make it easy to transport and store, plus it’s super quiet. Personally, I feel that it allowed me to express a significant amount of milk over a relatively short period of time. My favorite feature however, is the addition of the comfort inserts that go into the flanges and act as cushioning between your breast and the flange itself. This is unique in my experience and I’m definitely a fan! My son didn’t take to well to the provided bottles and nipples, but I suspect that had more to do with the fact that he drinks directly from the breast the vast majority of the time and he was being fussy to protest the initial change. Overall, I feel confident in recommending the Philips Advent Double Electric Breast Pump to other moms looking for a quick, comfortable and quiet way of pumping milk for their little ones.
