I have owned another brand of pasta maker in the past. This one beats it hands down. I absolutely love this pasta maker. It is so quiet & the best feature is how it weighs the flour & tells you how much liquid you need!

Really enjoying this Pasta maker, who knew making fresh pasta could be so easy and delicious! The only complaint I have is getting it to start up! The instruction manual is not very good sorry to say, kinda hard to understand! Getting it to start up took some time! You have to really read the instructions to turn it on because it has to be done a certain way! Its not just turn on and go, you have to do certain things in a certain step to get it to work and that sucks! But once I get it to work , its great and the pasta is amazing!

I received this as a gift after asking for a pasta maker and was initially worried about all its bells and whistles but it’s very easy to use and it makes fresh and delicious pasta quickly! It’s especially fun to use with my kids.

Easy to use, easy clean up. Note, the whole machine is a scale so when using make sure Pasta maker is clear. Great product! But you must follow instruction, if you do then you have a wonderful Pasta/Noodle at the end that is better than anything you can buy.

I love how much easier making pasta with this machine is than having to knead pasta dough by hand. All the different types of pastas one can choose from to make is wonderful as well.

Amazing machine. Works great. My only complaint is that the tube shape is difficult to clean. But the pasta it makes is worth the effort. I wish they had cleaning attachments for all the shapes.

[Employee of philipsglobal] We've made our own pasta for over 40 years but were limited to shapes based on flat sheets, like linguini or fettuccini. Extruded shapes such as penne or rigatoni aren't eligible. On the advice of a friend we took a chance with the Philips machine and are very pleased. In less than a half-hour from setup to cleanup we can make 250g for the two of us or twice that for a side-dish for as many as six people. Specialities with, say, spinach or squid ink are as simple as regular dough. And because it is an extruder, the tube-shapes are as easy as the flat. It takes ~ 10 minutes to clean up the bits and pieces of the machine at the end of the session. Some cleverly-signed 'tools' help to clear the extrusion dies, and an old toothbrush comes in handy. There are a few dies we haven't yet tried, e.g. lasagna noodles. I expect they will work as well as those we have used. Our old 'roller' machine will remain on hand for ravioli since it would be more manual work to get the filling between the sheets, but for most of our needs this is perfect.

Saw the videos and read reviews. This pasta maker is so easy to use, easy to clean. We start the water, then make the pasta and pasta is done just before the water boils. So far, we have only made the basic pasta receipes and trying a different type each time. We are looking forward to making many of the pasta variations. It is great knowing what goes into your food. Results have been awesome and consistent so far. Would like to see a fussilli attachment.
