Cardiology imaging

The Vereos PET/CT scanner offers approximately twice the quantitative accuracy of analog*, enabling increased performance at higher count rates. Compare the following heart scans for image quality and contrast.

How does it work?

Digital Photon Counting (DPC) technology provides a linear count rate performance, which makes the peak count rate higher than analog. This combines with the fast timing resolution capability to improve quantitative accuracy.

The imaging chain also maintains digital data integrity throughout. Add to that our reconstruction capability, and you get outstanding images with fast post-processing.
