    How long will the 4 AA batteries last?

    The battery life varies on models and how often the lock is operated. According to our internal test data, if the door lock is opened 10 times a day from the outside and unlocked 10 times a day from the inside, the battery can last for 1 year.
     

    What types of doors are suitable to install the lock?

    It is recommended to install this lock at your front door. But the lock can go anywhere that you would use a deadbolt in your home.

    How many user PIN codes are supported?

    The locks support 20 user PIN codes ranging from 4-10 digits. The Philips Home Access App will provide an unlimited amount of one-time PIN codes.
     

    How many types of alarms does the product support?

    Three types of alarms are supported, i.e. wrong code entry limit alarm, low battery alarm, and jamming alarm, which define as follows:
    a. Wrong code entry limit alarm means that the keypad will be disabled for 3 minutes after 10 times of failed PIN code verification;
    b .Low battery alarm means that when the battery voltage is less than 20%, the user will be reminded with a voice prompt at the lock indicating that "the battery level is low, please replace the batteries in time";
    c. Jamming alarm means that when the latch of the deadbolt fails to extend or retract, the lock will trigger a "ta-da-da" sound to remind the user that the latch is abnormal and needs their attention.
     

    What is away mode and how do I enable/disable it?

    This is a safety feature when you leave your house for a vacation or long trip. Away Mode disables all user codes until the Master PIN Code is entered on the keypad. When the lock is unlocked by the thumb turn, an alarm will sound for 1 minute. By entering the Master PIN Code on the keypad, you can disable to alarm and away mode. The user can enable/ disable the away mode as follows: use your palm to wake up the touchscreen, press X twice, enter master PIN code, and press √ to enter master mode, then press 8 and √ to enable/disable away mode.

    How can I change the language of the voice guidance?

    The voice guidance can be set to English, French or Spanish. To change the language please follow below steps: use your palm to wake up the touchscreen, press X twice, enter master PIN code, and press √ to enter master mode;Press 6 and √ to enter language settings, then follow the voice guidance to change the language you want as needed: For English, please press 1 and √;For French, please press 2 and √; For Spanish, please press 3 and √.

    What if I forgot the master PIN code?

    Press the reset button for 5 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating that the device has been restored to default settings, please wait and reset the master PIN code accordingly. (Note:After the lock restored to default settings, all information such as enrolled fingerprints and PIN codes, etc. will be cleared simultaneously.)

    Can I lock the door with a mechanical key from the outside?

    Yes, keys can be used to lock the door from the outside if the lock has a keyway. For models that come without a keyway, users can press any key on the keypad for two seconds to lock the door.
     

    What if the batteries are dead, and I do not have a spare battery?

    You can connect a power bank to the backup power port at the bottom of the lock to power the lock long enough to insert your code and unlock. Once you are inside, replace with new batteries immediately.
     

    How can I delete PIN codes from the lock?

    You need to use your palm to wake up the touchscreen, press X twice, enter master PIN code, and press √ to enter master mode;Then press 3 and √ to enter the PIN codes that you want to delete and confirm with √ to delete the PIN code accordingly. (Note: the code you wanted to delete should be any of the enrolled PIN codes.)
