My Philips lady shaver is not cutting properly

If the blades of your Philips lady shave are not removing your body hair properly, please read on our advice on how to troubleshoot this problem to achieve a smooth shave.

Lady shaver is not charged

It could be that your shaver is not charged properly.

Make sure that you charge your ladyshaver long enough. Some models require 8 hours of charging, while other models only need 1 hour. You can find this information in the user manual or the product leaflet.

Note: This shaver can only be used cordless. Make sure you unplug it from the mains before use.

Not using proper attachments

We advise you to use the efficacy cap on the shaver for better hair removal. This attachment makes the hair on your skin stand upright, making them easier to remove.

Not shaving properly

It is very important to use proper shaving technique to achieve desired results. We suggest pulling your skin tight with one hand and slowly moving the shaver along the skin.

Dry and wet shaving

The Philips lady shaver is designed to be used both wet and dry.

For dry shave please make sure skin is clean and completely dry before use.

For wet shave its good to lather your skin with soap or shaving cream.

Note: Please do not use any deodrants or alcohol-based lotions immediately before or after the shave. You may use a talcom powder if desired.
