Your Philips TV has a feature called EasyLink which communicates with external devices with similar capability connected to your set using HDMI. When the external device is turned on, your TV detects the device and switches to the appropriate HDMI input.
If you do not like this feature, you may select disable it in the TV Settings by pressing menu on your remote and then navigating to Installation, then Preferences then Master EasyLink. Once there you can change the setting to off.
