2 year warranty
There are 2 common causes for no sound on these TVs when properly hooked up- i.e. when improper connection has been ruled out as a cause.
The first possibility is that secondary audio program (SAP) is turned on. The audio you hear comes from a source that may be broadcasting a second audio program or SAP. If the second audio program is turned on but there is nothing recorded for the second audio then you will hear nothing. SAP normally will broadcast an alternative language.
Turn Off SAP:
All 5505, 7705, 7505, 4706, 5706 TVs.
All Other Models:
Note: These setting may only be availble if SAP is available on that channel.
If the audio is still not working then you can make sure that TV Speakers are turned on.
