Published on 26 August 2025
Daily Cleaning – Rinsing Under the Tap
Follow the steps below to perform a daily clean of your Philips Head Pro.
- make sure the shaver is turned off, then detach the shaving unit from the device.
- rinse the shaving unit under lukewarm water.
- gently reattach the shaving unit to the device.
- shake off excess water.
Please note: Do not dry the shaving unit with a towel or tissue (may damage the heads).
Monthly Deep Clean – Thorough Blade Cleaning
Follow the steps below to perform a monthly deep clean of your Philips Head Pro
- turn the locking ring counterclockwise to unlock it, then lift it off to remove the individual shaving heads.
- lift out each cutter and guard.
- rinse each cutter and guard under the tap and allow them to dry.
- reassemble cutter and guard pairs correctly. Each pair forms a matching set.
- place the locking ring back on and turn it clockwise to secure the shaving heads.
Deep Clean – Using the Rinse Stand
To get the deepest clean possible, we recommend using the rinse stand (sold separately).
- fill the rinse stand with lukewarm water up to the maximum fill line (see Fig. 1). Always place the stand on a stable, flat surface to avoid leaks.
- turn on your Head Pro and place it in the rinse stand holder. Let it run for 1 minute to flush out any hair and residue (see Fig. 2). Please note: Stay with the device and turn it off manually. Do not tilt the rinse stand during use, as this may cause leakage.
- after cleaning, lift the inner holder from the stand (Fig. 3) and pour the dirty water down the drain (Fig. 4).
