My Philips Head Pro is not working

    Published on 26 August 2025

If your Philips Head Pro is not working, the troubleshooting tips below may help you find a solution.

We recommend you follow the steps in the order listed below. In between steps, check to see if the issue is resolved before moving to the next.

    1. Unplug the Head Pro from a power source.

Using an electric device with water can be very dangerous. For safety reasons, the shaver will not operate while it is connected to a power source.

Try unplugging your Head Pro from the main power supply and then switch it on again.

    2. Clean the Head Pro

Your Head Pro requires regular cleaning to function properly. Hair or debris can get stuck in the device and affect its performance. For tips on deep cleaning and long-term maintenance, please see our FAQ: "How do I clean my Philips Head Pro?

    3. Charge the battery.

It is possible that the battery of your Head Pro has run out. We advise you to fully charge your device and then try turning it on again. Ensure that you connect it to a suitable power supply when charging your device. Philips bases the estimated charging time on using a 5V, 1A USB plug adapter. If you use an alternative power source, the charging time may be significantly longer.

Tip: Need an adapter to charge your device? You can purchase your adapter via Philips Parts and Accessories online shop or by contacting Consumer Support.

Are you still having issues with your Head Pro?

If none of these tips help, your Head Pro may be damaged internally. We recommend that you request a repair or exchange.
