Rated 5 out of 5 by Fields01 Prestigo in Use
I purchased my Prestigo SRT8215 in a trip to Germany in 2011. In this meantime most of my devices changed. But I still keep using the same remote control. It made possible for the non geek persons of my family to watch TV, movies, selecting apple TV, in my home without being concerned with what input has to be selected, etc, etc.
My concern is when its life gets to the end, where will I purchase my next one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chia74 Far Superior to the Logitech Harmony Remotes
I previously owned two different Harmony remotes. The Harmony remotes I found to be of substandard build quality, easily breaking when dropped from the cushion of a couch. After breaking my second remote I decided to take a chance and go a different direction. I purchased the Philips Prestigo remote instead of a Harmony remote. Not only was the Philips remote less expensive, it had a more solid feel in my hand. The buttons are very tactile, so you know exactly when you've applied enough pressure to activate them, and the touch screen provides audio feedback to let you know you've engaged its functions. The software is easy to use and has the ability to be configured by people with little computer experience, and yet is customizable enough for even the advanced user who'd like total control over their remote's functions. I've abused this remote, dropped it, sat on it, had my 4 year old son jump on it once while it was laying on a hardwood floor, and aside from some cosmetic damage to the edging and a few scratches it continues to work like a charm. I am very impressed.

Settings cannot store in PC and copy to another Prestigo, what a pity!

Rated 4 out of 5 by schwarz633 doesn't support 4 digit channel numbers
If you want to program "favorites" with 4 digit channel numbers you are out of luck, the SRT8215/17 only allows 3 digit channel numbers. On my cable box, most of the channels that I wanted as "favorites" are 4 digits, so I had to return it.
