How can I clean the Philips ear thermometer?

For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning your Philips ear thermometer after each use. A lens filter is not needed.

Use a cotton swab

1. Moisten the cotton swab with a few drops of alcohol and wipe the surface of the infrared sensor gently with the swab
2. Immediately wipe the surface dry with a clean cotton swab
3. Use a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the device
4. Store the device in a clean, dry place at room temperature
