Try doing a soft reset.
- Insert a small pin or other sharp object into the reset hole located at the back of the retractable stand of the player
- Hold until the unit shut down
Note: Your songs and data will not be lost or corrupted by a soft reset. Update your player’s firmware to the latest version to reduce the chance of future hang-ups. See “How do I upgrade my Portable Media Center with the latest firmware?“ for instructions.
