You can connect a Philips Bluetooth stereo headset to a mobile phone and a hi-fi stereo at the same time. If you receive a phone call while you are listening to music, the music stops when you take the call and resumes when you finish the call. This feature is called StreamSwitch.

The headset supports the following profiles:

1) Voice communication

• Headset Profile (HSP)
• Hands-Free Profile (HFP)

2) Music streaming and remote control

• Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
• Audio/Video Remote Control (AVRCP)

You can connect the headset to a device that supports HSP or HFP, and at the same time to a device that supports A2DP. You cannot connect the headset to two music streaming devices at the same time.

You can connect the headset in the following ways:

• Connect to a Bluetooth audio adapter (that supports the A2DP profile) and a mobile phone (HSP, HFP)
• Connect to an A2DP compatible phone (that typically also supports HFP, HSP), to listen to music and monitor calls at the same time
• Connect to a PC via a Bluetooth USB adapter, to listen to music and have VOIP conversations. The software for Bluetooth USB adapters usually supports some profiles. Newer kits typically support A2DP and HFP/HSP.
• Connect to a single device, using one of the following profiles: HSP, HFP, or A2DP with AVRCP
