Pixel Plus 3 HD offers the unique combination of ultimate sharpness, natural detail, vivid colors and smooth natural motion on all qualities of HD, standard TV signals and multimedia content, for high definition displays. Ambilight Full Surround for immersive viewing experience
Ambilight 4 makes an impressive contribution to the overall viewing experience and the design of the TV. It produces a fully surrounding glow of light that complements the colors and light intensity on all 4 sides of the image and with the unique design creates a 'floating display'. The Ambilight is cast onto a refelective area that is an integrated part of the TV's unique design and makes it independent from TV position or mounting. The surrounding glow creates ambiance, stimulates more relaxed viewing, improves perceived picture detail, contrast and color, and will completely immerse you.
HDMI input for full digital HD connection in one cable
HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB connection from the source to the screen. By eliminating conversion to an analog signal, it delivers an unblemished image. The non-degraded signal reduces flicker and leads to a clearer picture. HDMI intelligently communicates the highest output resolution with the source device. The HDMI input is fully backward compatible with DVI sources but includes digital audio. HDMI uses HDCP copy protection.

Integrated HDTV and CableCARD for unrivalled picture quality
The CableCARD is a removable card distributed by the cable providers that is inserted in the TV. This enables the “Plug-and-Play DTV” functionality as agreed between cable operators and consumer electronics manufacturers. It allows the decoding of encrypted or scrambled content delivered from the cable system. CableCARD functionality includes conditional access and copy protection. A CableCARD-enabled television without a CableCARD inserted receives high-definition standard TV broadcasts. When a CableCARD is inserted, the television receives high-value high-definition, cable programming.
Clear LCD for extreme motion sharpness
Clear LCD creates extreme motion sharpness for clear and vibrant images even with fast on-screen motion. The high refresh rates of the scanning backlight technology increases the sharpness of motion reproduction to more than twice that of normal LCD (measured in Perceived Blurr-Edge-Width; BEW). On top it creates a higher dynamic contrast and an increased viewing angle. The integrated subwoofer with lambda/4 technology creates a very deep and powerfull bass in a highly compact enclosure, keeping the TV slim and flat. The lambda/4 subwoofer unit utilizes resonating acoustic masses in a system of ducts to produce powerfull bass with low distortion. The lambda/4 sound system, combined with high quality midrange and tweeters also gives a very spacious stereo image.

USB and Memory-Card slot for instantly playing multimedia
Instantaneously view and share your movies, photos and music. The Memory Card slot will accept cards of type Compact Flash I and II, Memory Stick, SD Card / Mini SD Card, Smart Media, Micro Drive (up to 2 GB) and Multi Media Card. Simply plug the memory card into slot at the side of the TV, and access the multimedia files stored on the card. The USB connector allows access to multimedia files of most USB-sticks and most digital cameras (USB memory-class device).
