If your Philips Air Purifier turns off suddenly, there might be a simple solution. Discover here how to solve it yourself.
The air purifier is restarting
When the power resumes (e.g, after a power cut), your Philips Air Purifier restarts automatically and goes to the previous mode.
The air purifier is set to shutdown
If your Philips Air Purifier comes with the options to pre-set it to shut down, such as timer on appliances or scheduler on App, then this might have been set and caused it to turn off. Please check the settings on appliance timer or scheduler in App.
The filter alert has been on for more than two weeks
If your Philips Air purifier has been showing a filter replacement alert for more than two weeks and the filter was not replaced, it will be locked and shut down.
If this is the case, please replace the filter.
The back door is open
Some air purifier models are designed to switch off when the backdoor is open. If the back door is open, please try closing it and make sure it is properly closed. Your purifier should resume working now.
