My Philips Sonicare Power Flosser does not stream water

    Published on 05 August 2024
If your Power Flosser is not streaming water, the troubleshooting tips below may help you find a solution.

We recommend you follow the steps in the order listed below. In between steps, check to see if the issue is resolved before moving to the next.

If no water comes out when the motor is on, try the following:

    1. Point the nozzle into the sink, ensuring the handle is below the bottom of the reservoir.
    2. Slide the pause switch to the “on” position (up).
    3. Turn the intensity knob to 10.
    4. Hold this position for 30 seconds. Move to the next step when no water comes out after 30 seconds.
Gently stretch out the hose to ensure there is no kink in the hose. Try again if water is streaming through the Power Flosser. Move on to the next step is no water comes out.

A clogged nozzle can be the reason why there are no water streams. To check if the nozzle is blocked, you will need to clean the nozzle.

    1. Remove the nozzle from the handle and rinse it under warm water.
    2. Add two parts of warm water and one part of white vinegar in a container.
    3. Soak the nozzle in the container for at least 30 minutes.
    4. Take the nozzle out and rinse under warm water.
    5. Place the nozzle back on the handle and check if it is solved. If still, no water is streaming, move to the next step.
If none of these tips help, your Power Flosser may be damaged internally. We recommend that you request a repair or exchange for your Power Flosser.
