My Philips Barista Brew Espresso Machine is leaking

If you notice your Philips Barista Brew Espresso Machine leaking, read below to find out possible causes and solutions.
It is normal and not indicating leakage if you notice some water in the drip tray, or if it fills up quicker than expected. This happens because your Philips Barista Brew Espresso Machine drains rinsing water from the inside directly into the drip tray after brewing coffee or frothing milk.
Ensure the water tank is not overfilled when placing it on the machine. If the water tank is not fully inserted, clear water may leak under or at the backside. To fix this, remove the water tank and insert it again, pushing it as far as possible.
In case you see coffee leaking from the portafilter bracket, ensure to rotate counterclockwise and firmly lock the portafilter to the brewing position. The filter basket needs to have its upper edge clean from coffee particles and to be inserted properly in the portafilter. Make sure to not overfill the filter basket with ground coffee.
