    Pesto sauce

    Switch up your pasta and add pesto sauce. It’s sure to be a favorite.

    • 4 cups packed fresh Basil
    • 3 – 4 Garlic Cloves
    • 1/4 cup Walnuts or Pine Nuts
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
    • 1/4 cup shredded Pecorino
    • 1/2 cup Olive Oil


    • Pulse basil, garlic, nuts, and salt in a food processor until finely diced, about 10 pulses. (If a food processor is not available, grind all ingredients in a mortar or finely mince by hand.) Place mixture in a fresh bowl.
    • Stir in shredded cheeses then add olive oil and gently mix until uniform. Serve immediately or store chilled with plastic wrap pressed securely on the surface to help retain color.
