There are two ways to find out if your health insurance plan will provide coverage
for a new breast pump:

1. Call your health insurance company directly to get specific details about your coverage. They can explain the process and coverage to which you are entitled.
2. Check your eligibility directly with a DME by filling out your health insurance information on their website. They will check your insurance coverage and get a prescription and/or pre-authorization from your doctor if needed.

• Once the DME has your insurance information they will provide a list of breast pumps that are fully covered for you to choose from.

• You can also choose to upgrade your breast pump if you are willing to pay a portion of the cost. The DME will highlight the pumps that are considered upgrades.

• They will also tell you which breast pump parts and accessories you may be eligible for.

Once you’ve selected the best breast pump for you, the DME provider will deliver it right to you.
