    Does Philips web camera's software contain viruses?

    There is nothing wrong with the software you are trying to install. Some virus scanners may incorrectly identify a virus in installation files.

    Please ensure that your antivirus program is up to date. If the problem persists, please report the issue to your antivirus vendor.

    Note: The software package is optional; you will still be able to use the webcam as a “Plug and Chat” device without installing it.
