What is a "Sleep Routine", anyway?
A sleep routine is taking a consistent approach to your sleep time both “Going to Sleep” time and “Waking up” time each day over a period of days. This includes weekends as well as week days. A regular time to go to sleep and a regular time to wake up (the same each day) is the beginning of setting a healthy sleep routine! When you repeat the same pattern of waking and sleeping time for each day over a series of days, then you are signaling your body into a sleep routine, which enables more restful and restorative sleep.
