We highly recommend using the included mount and placing the Baby Unit at the center of the long side of the baby's crib or bed to make SenseIQ perform best. While it is possible to use SenseIQ without a mount, it may be more challenging to receive accurate sleep and breathing rate information.
Also, make sure to follow the step-by-step instructions in the user manual and the Baby Monitor+ app for setting up your mount.
If your baby monitor came with the 2-in-1 mount and you are attaching it to the baby's crib, it is best to use a crib with square bars.
If your baby monitor came with the 2-in-1 mount or the wall-only mount, and you are attaching the Baby Unit to the wall, please follow the recommended wall-mount height:
- 2-in-1 mount: 1.1 meters (43 inches) from the floor.
- Wall-only mount: 1.3 meters (51 inches) from the floor.
