Does Avent Premium Connected Baby Monitor require Wi-Fi?

The Philips Avent Premium Connected Baby Monitor does not require Wi-Fi for video monitoring. You can set it up and use it without a Wi-Fi network.

However, to fully experience and activate the SenseIQ and Cry Translation features, install the Philips Avent Baby Monitor+ App. With this App, you can see and hear your baby from anywhere in the world using Wi-Fi or mobile internet. It also lets you check on your baby's wellness.

Once activated, the SenseIQ technology works with or without Wi-Fi. For the Cry Translation feature, Wi-Fi is always required.
