My Philips TV is not working, screen is black, blinking red LED

Television is probably malfunctioning due to electrostatic discharge. Try resetting the television by unplugging it from the power outlet for 10 seconds.

• Make sure that the power cable on the display and the VGA cable with trailing audio cables are connected correctly (use the originally supplied VGA cable) between 'MONITOR' of the TV and 'VGA1' of the display
• Make sure that the display is switched on
