Cutting heads have the same design as my SesoTouch
For me, Norelco shavers give the most comfortable satisfactory shaves. My beard is no primarily white, so five o'clock shadow isn't a problem. The shavers are sturdy, the cutting heads are not as fragile as the foil shaver and nicks razor burn are not a factor. I don't know about the grooming attachment. I bought it for the shave. I don't have a beard, mustache or any version of these. A blade gives a better shave, but I don't miss the nicks.
Pros
The series 9000 shaves uses cutting heads that resemble my older Norelco. I had to return a series 6000 shaver which gave a more comfortable shave, probably because it left a lot of hairs uncut. I had to return it. This one does as good a job at twice the price, so while not a bargain, it will be a keeper.
Cons
Norelco wants to sell shavers, so when the battery goes kaput, you cannot use it plugged in… as one was the case. You have to buy a new shaver at a higher price. It's not Norelco's fault that they make the best electric.
