My baby unit mount is broken or doesn’t work

If your Philips Avent Premium Connected Baby Monitor came with the 2-in-1 mount, follow this step-by-step guide and video to mount your baby unit on a crib.

Before you start, make sure you have:

• Baby unit
• 2-in-1 mount (clamp and pole)
• Power adapter

Step 1: Install the crib mount

1. For the best camera view, position the mount in the center of one of the long sides of the crib.
2. Lower the clamp onto the crib rail.
3. Turn the knob clockwise until the clamp is securely attached.

Step 2: Assemble the mount pole

1. Connect the two pole sections to form one long pole. You will hear a click when the sections are fully connected.
2. Feed the power cable through the clamp, followed by the pole.
3. Align the dots on the pole and clamp.
4. Rotate the pole 45 degrees clockwise until it locks into place.
5. Extend the telescopic bottom section until it reaches the floor.
6. Place the power cable in the cable slot at the bottom of the pole that faces the nearest power outlet.

Step 3: Connect the power

1. Route the power cable along the floor and the base of the wall.
2. Connect the cable to the supplied power adapter.
3. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.

Step 4: Attach the baby unit

1. Align the holes on the bottom of the baby unit with the pegs on the mount bracket.
2. Slide the baby unit forward until it locks into place.
3. Connect the USB-C power cable to the baby unit.

Step 5: Adjust the camera view

1. Use the parent unit or Philips Avent Baby Monitor+ app to check the camera view.
2. Tilt the baby unit up, down, left or right until the entire crib mattress is visible.
3. Make sure the mattress appears centered and level on the screen, with your baby in the middle of the camera view.

Tip: When the baby unit is mounted correctly, you should be able to see the entire crib mattress. This helps you keep your baby in view as they move around the crib.

Before you start, make sure you have:

• Baby unit
• 2-in-1 mount
• Clamp
• Power adapter
• Screws and wall anchors
• Wall mount template

Step 1: Prepare the wall mount

1. Turn the clamp knob counterclockwise while pulling out the wall mount bracket.
2. Press the release tab with your thumb and slide the screw section downward to remove it.
3. Keep the remaining piece. This is the wall mount bracket.

Step 2: Install the wall mount bracket

1. Position the crib so that the center of its long side is directly below the intended mounting position.
2. Use the wall mount template to mark the screw positions 1.1 m (3.6 ft) above the floor.
3. Drill the holes and insert the supplied wall anchors.
4. Align the wall mount bracket with the anchors.
5. Secure the bracket to the wall using the supplied screws.

Step 3: Assemble the mount pole

1. Connect the two pole sections to form one long pole. You will hear a click when the sections are fully connected.
2. Feed the power cable through the opening in the wall mount bracket, followed by the pole.
3. Align the dots on the pole and bracket.
4. Rotate the pole 45 degrees clockwise until it locks into place.
5. Extend the telescopic bottom section until it reaches the floor.
6. Place the power cable in the cable slot at the bottom of the pole that faces the nearest power outlet.

Step 4: Connect the power

1. Route the power cable along the floor and the base of the wall.
2. Connect the cable to the supplied power adapter.
3. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.

Step 5: Attach the baby unit

1. Align the holes on the bottom of the baby unit with the pegs on the mount bracket.
2. Slide the baby unit forward until it locks into place.
3. Connect the USB-C power cable to the baby unit.

Step 6: Adjust the camera view

1. Use the parent unit or Philips Avent Baby Monitor+ app to check the camera view.
2. Tilt the baby unit up, down, left or right until the entire crib mattress is visible.
3. Make sure the mattress appears centered and level on the screen, with your baby in the middle of the camera view.

Tip: When the baby unit is mounted correctly, you should be able to see the entire crib mattress. This helps you keep your baby in view as they move around the crib.

If your Philips Avent Premium Connected Baby Monitor came with the wall-only mount, follow this step-by-step guide and video to mount your baby unit on a wall.

Before you start, make sure you have:

• Baby unit
• Wall mount bracket
• 7 cable covers
• Exit cover
• 3 cable clamps
• Power adapter
• Screws and wall anchors
• Wall mount template

Note: The wall mount template is included in the Quick Start Guide. If you no longer have the guide, you can download and print the template on the Quick Start Guide or User Manual on the support page for your product.

You will also need:

• Tape measure
• Power drill
• 6 mm (15/64 in) drill bit

Step 1: Install the wall mount bracket

1. Position the crib so that the center of its long side is directly below the intended mounting position.
2. Measure 1.3 m (51 in) from the floor and mark this height on the wall.
   • Important: The edge of the crib must be at least 92 cm (3 ft) from the wall outlet you intend to use.
3. Place the wall mount template on the wall, aligning its center with the 1.3 m (51 in) mark.
4. Mark the two screw-hole positions.
5. Drill the holes and insert the supplied wall anchors.
6. Remove the cover from the wall mount bracket.
7. Align the bracket with the anchors and secure it to the wall using the supplied screws.
8. Reattach the bracket cover.

Step 2: Install the cable covers

1. Remove the adhesive backing from one cable cover.
2. Align the cable cover with the bottom of the wall mount bracket and snap it into place.
3. Gently pull the cable through the cover.
4. Make sure the cover is straight, then press it firmly against the wall.
5. Repeat these steps until all seven cable covers are installed.
6. Position the exit cover below the final cable cover and mark the screw-hole positions.
7. Remove the exit cover, drill the holes and insert the supplied wall anchors.
8. Reposition the exit cover and secure it to the wall using the supplied screws.

Step 3: Connect the power

1. Connect the power cable and plug the power adapter into the wall outlet.
2. Secure the cable to the wall using the three cable clamps:
   • Place the first clamp between the connector and the warning label.
   • Place the second clamp near the wall outlet.
   • Place the third clamp between the first and second clamps.

Step 4: Attach the baby unit

1. Align the holes on the bottom of the baby unit with the pegs on the mount bracket.
2. Slide the baby unit forward until it locks into place.
3. Connect the USB-C power cable to the baby unit.

Step 5: Adjust the camera view

1. Use the parent unit or Philips Avent Baby Monitor+ app to check the camera view.
2. Tilt the baby unit up, down, left or right until:
   • The entire crib mattress is visible.
   • The crib appears level on the screen.
   • Your baby is centered in the camera view.

Tip: When the baby unit is mounted correctly, you should be able to see the entire crib mattress. This helps you keep your baby in view as they move around the crib.
