For topping: freshly chopped parsley, parmesan cheese
For serving: marinara sauce
1. In a bowl, mix together almond flour, tapioca flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs. Set up an assembly line with cauliflower, eggs, and flour mixture.
2. Bread cauliflower by dipping it in the egg mixture. Then dip it in the flour mixing making sure to fully coat it. Place on a plate and repeat with remaining cauliflower.
3. Using a large non-stick pan, add oil and fry in batches until browned on the outside and tender in the middle.
Tip: When you cook in the Philips Airfryer XXL you get results just as crispy and tasty as deep fried, but without all the excess oil and fat!
If making in the Philips Airfryer XXL, Place cauliflower in the airfryer basket, spreading out and leaving room in between each piece. Spray with a light coating of oil. Close drawer, set airfryer on manual at 375 for 16-17 minutes, pausing halfway through to stir them up. Make sure they are still spread out after you stir them around. You will probably have to cook in two batches to ensure they are not overcrowded.
Top with fresh parsley and more parmesan cheese if desired. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
