The Philips Avent parts that come in contact with breast milk and the bottles are 100% BPA free (following EU regulation, 10/2011). Find out what materials were used for your Philips Avent breast pump.

The cover of the Philips Avent breast pump is made from polypropylene (PP), and the massage cushion, white valve and diaphragm consist of silicone

For the manual breast pump the handle and stem are also made of polypropylene.

For the electric breast pump the pump body is made of polypropylene and the tube and cap are made of silicone.
