Line-in Recording means that the set does nothave a tuner, and you can not record TV Programs directly off the air. The set requires a device (Cable Box, Satellite, or another VCR/DVDR) to be connected to the line-in connector before it is able to record programs off the air.
The channel will have to be tuned by the Cable Box, Satellite, or another VCR/DVDR. Also, external devices such as Camcorders, VCR's, DVD players, etc.. can be connected to the line-in connectors and recordings made from them.
The information on this page applies to the following models: DVDR3475/37 , DVP3340V/17 .
