If you are a new user of Philips goLITE BLUE we advise you to start using the device at the lowest intensity setting (for first 2-3 days). This will give your eyes some time to adjust to the new light before you move to a higher intensity setting. As light sensitivity differs from person to person, some experimentation would be needed until finding the setting that is comfortable for your eyes, while providing you the energy needed.
