Excellent device to stop the winter blues
Love this light!!! I use it when I feel my energy lagging, my sleep patterns interrupted during the night, sleepy during the day, etc. Usually start using it in November/December and use it until March or April. It's made a big difference in how I function during the winter.
I use it first thing in the morning and my energy levels rise during the day and I sleep much better at night. I don't find it so hard to get up in the morning and I'm more alert. There used to be a quiz on the Phillips site that helped you figure out what your diurnal cycle was and when to use the light to correct it. That was very helpful in making sure I was using it correctly.
